I'm a prophet.
see below post from earlier this week.
Any requests from Crash for prognostication will be considered.

"I've been thinking about it and have decided that Lulu should take the Mercedes deal. If he's thinking branding, the way that Tiger Woods had so much success doing (yeah, yeah, BEFORE the scandals I mean). Merc is the right choice. Nobody in the wide world of mainstream media (outside the UK) has even heard of McLaren, and if Lulu wants to be a billionaire he needs to align himself with a World Class brand. Everyone knows Merc.
To be the face of that brand would be significant in the long term. Schumi did a similar thing with Ferrari and he ended up doing OK.
Besides, Lulu's lost that lovin' feelin' with Macca, methinks some bridges may have been burned."

Hamilton is a very fast driver but in his time at Mclaren he has done the team more damage then good because of him mclaren have lost Alonso and at least two to three more championships, they were lucky to win that one championship. I just hope McLaren do better without him.

NICE MOVE!!! - you can finally earn your Number One driver status that you deserve.
We the fans are moving right along with you, its good know that you can make you own decision to grow your brand...now watch the sponsorship pull out of Mclaren.

Even if Lewis still has a slim chance, the 2012 driver's championship is now effectively only between Alonso and Vettel. It will be interesting to see how McLaren will handle the remaining 2012 races. No wonder Lewis wasnt even upset when he retired in Singapore.

Nick636...that was one season,in which lewis was at his worst, and jenson at his best.
but it looks like lewis will beat jenson 2 out of 3 seasons which is good.lewis is still leading jenson despite all the bad luck he's had this season, and quali is very important in a tight season, this is one of the reasons why jenson has struggled.and if alonso's quali performances dont improve he could end up losing the championship.i think mclaren will struggle with perez and button.
perez is a good driver, but he needs to start on fresh tyres to get good reults.normally when he quali's in the top 10 he goes backwards in the race.
when he starts outside of the top 10,he normally does well because he's able to start on fresh tyres.

who the hell doesnt fancy a new challenge, new faces, plus more money.
merc need to get cracking, they made a big mistake pandering to tne shumi ego and have wasted 3 years.
Rosberg started out a good driver and has gone off the boil with shumi's domineering presence.
Hammi and rosberg are a great combination and the team will do much better . especially when the major rule changes come.

And Jenson's luck? Oh, right, he's had the BEST luck?!?! NOT!!! Did you watch Melbourne? Spa? No, I thought not... Not quick enough my ass... He had a mid season dip where the changes made to the car didn't work for him. Stop being so biased. I have said often Lewis is talented and fast, but it's his fans that make life a nightmare...

why is every one slagging off hamilton for this move. it is a logically sound move that will pay dividend in the future for both parties. another point, please don't fault him for signing for the team that offered him more money and future prospects. the sport runs on money and you can't single hamilton out the only concerned about how much he gets paid.

@butt Well he said he wants to win more championships. Moving from Mclaren to Merc is counter intuitive to that goal. It makes him look like other things are more important than being world champion. Hence Taz's Villeneuve comment.

Would just like to wish Lewis Hamilton and Sergio Perez the best for 2013.However 2012 isn't over yet and Jenson will still have to work with Lewis to get the points needed to win the championship for McLaren. Rocket reds all the way boys
