Well this has shaken things up. Hamilton off to Mercedes with Perez getting a shot at the big time with McLaren. Could be a very interesting scenario once Massa et al. have sorted themselves out.

@Gobsmacked

Blame whitmarsh for driving him out. I think if Martin wasn't Team principal, Hamilton would of stuck with McLaren. Good luck to Hamilton at Mercedes

The futures bright, the futures silver arrows =)

OMFG

You people are pathetic... Like Jenson has done nothing in the car? He made Lewis look like an immature infant last year, qualifying is not everything. Making full race distance without crashing into a few people, especially your team mate is what a real racer does.

I can't wait to see this cry baby throw his toys when his car breaks down every other weekend. Or watch him grab almost every pole position, only to watch him go backwards due to tyre wear and a good couple of crashes.....

the way buttons been driving this season,most ppl would be forgiven for thinking the mclaren was the 2nd,3rd or 4th best car.button will not win a championship in a tight season,like this one because,he is not quick enough,especially in quali.his performances have improved,but that was only after he was given all of lewis's data.mclaren have definitely kept hold of the wrong driver,they have a habbit of losing their best drivers.this is probably why they have only won one wdc in 11 years.ppl are saying lewis is a fool for leaving mclaren,but alonso did it,and look at where he is now.
this could be a great move for lewis.

Hey Charlie, browsers create their own unique identifier when they are installed. Just like a serial number. It can't happen by just changing IP's. Off topic, my bad. Back to my corner.

Hear this people so JB never followed LH on twitter but now just followed his new next year team mate Perez and even had a welcome note for him! What does this tells us about the atmosphere in McLaren and the relationship between the two soon ex team mate? I hope one day someone (any McLaren insider) will write a book with all the crispy details...really I'm dying of curiosity!

-----------

The Canada incident was Buttons fault, and I believe Button crashed into Nairin aka Cucumber in Malaysia, he also wiped off the nose of a caterham driver in Monaco. I would like to see how Martin treats Perez when he opens a can of Whoopass on Oversteer understeer, no heat, no grip driver.

Lets vote, who gets the first pole position for McLaren in 2013

Lewis the Silver Arrow awaits you
