So the F1 Musical Chairs game starts here!

Can you imagine the scramble for the "available" Drivers seats right now?

I would like to see Massa move 1st, then see what spins out from there.

hey michael if you havent signed a deal already with another team, then hurry up and do it..cos we all no you are much better than youve shown through out your secound career..youve been used by a friend and made to look worse than you are..maybe all your technical issues was done on purpose by the team, so you didnt sign,if you had not had such a crap car you would of been in op five for tittle, whitch in turn would of been enough for you to agree a new deal, merc and brawn didnt want you to succeed this year....even in a sauber i believe you will once again show your true self....good luck for the future...brawn as shown his true colours...bar 2009 he as achieved nothing since he left ferrari..just proves ferrari success was not just his doing..and if he adnt had that success with ferrari hed probably be at hispania..

Schumi's unceremonious exit (read as elbowed out) by Norbert Haug & Mercedes Management had surely dented his reputation. Phew! He never had a good car and by Schumi's own confessions and standards, he agrees that he is not as best as he was once but he is equally good to compete in such a competitive environment. He deserves better and if not Sauber,Red Overalls will be a treat for all of us Schumi fans which might be little tricky as there is neither Todt nor Brawn but still will dream on. He needs a glorified exit rather than being pushed. He still has a couple of competitive racing years left. Luca & Stefano are you listening guys ?

A Schumacher/ Vettel pairing would have been great. Shame Red Bull didn't hold off from signing Webber, they could have waited and him signed up. Having said that, it doesn't matter what driver is signed for where, we seen in the past that drivers who have a contract can easily be replaced before the season starts as we seen with Trulli.

Bernie was with Luca at Maranello and I'm sure the reason for the visit was to talk about Schumacher going to Ferrari and do a deal over the engines in return. I'd be very surprised if Bernie doesn't wish this to happen.

A lot of people blaming Mercedes for Schumachers performance.

Rosberg repeatedly outperformed Schumacher in most races for over a year. Was that Mercedes fault?

Mercedes changed the car to suit Schumacher, but without adding traction control and a lifting floor they could not give him enough of an advantage to beat the others.

Admittedly they neglected to give him glasses so he would stop ramming innocent drivers up the exhaust.

Perhaps a specsavers sponsorship could have saved the day!

I wonder, and this is probably a long shot....
listening to RB and to MS, i cant help but think Michael might have been more involved in the Hamilton deal than we think. He was kept apprised of the situation, according to RB, and could probably have firmed up a contract in the early stages had he so desired.
So, perhaps the plan was he stick around as a driver until Ross secured a premiere driver, and, once they signed one, the plan was to to step away from the ride.
If so, he may end up doing some testing for Mercedes, mentor the drivers, and move into a front office role of some sort.
I do not see him going anywhere else if he was unable to make up his mind about his beloved Mercedes. It does not make sense.
Just musing...

Artov, lots of mud being thrown at the Mercedes execs right now by a lot of angry MSC fans. One person also suggested that fans write to Ferrari to urge them to take him back in place of Massa. Not sure if Alonso would be delighted by the idea though...
