We just simply maintain - as PROVEN - that Hamilton is not as good as you all think he is and Button is WAY better than you give him credit for!

Richard, Re the intended new exhaust regulations for 2013, I have been waiting for the announcement on the new for 2013 exhaust regulations but they never came, they are now already past the agreed-by date, and so any change now will require unanimity from all teams.

I see that we have some Mc Laren employees here, or even people who are verry close in the F1... Cuz they know it all...not!
People talking about what's really going on in Lewis his mind or in the mind of Martin W. or whatever... Like they are Xavier from Xmen... U only can guess, u idiotic haters... He's lucky this, did it for the money that... men get a life or u go drive a F1 car... I guess that never gonna happen cuz u stuck behind your pc screen... waiting for crash 2 feed you with a Hamilton Post... Brave puppies, now go get the stick!

sunny. re your response to r. what you forgot to mention is the fact that lulu was NOT the choice of merc. they actually wanted schumi to re-sign, and it was only his prevarication that made them go for second best, or was that third best, as it is said that perez was their second choice?

when macca staff are openly saying that lulu had to go, it is no wonder that macca did not increase their offer or give into his demands.

he was the only driver capable of beating Vettel to the crown

Hmmm Vettel would have to miss 6 races (or have DNF) for that to happen.

Ha ha ha ha That would have to be an all mighty come back, it would make yesterdays Ryder Cup come back look like a charity event.

Explain to us how Button looks like beating Vettel when he only had 3 wins

Good luck Lewis.
As a fan of his driving I agree with Damon Hill and next year will be hoping for the Silver Arrow to win. My association with Maclaren will be at an end!
Over the years I have enjoyed watching Williams, Ferrari, Maclaren and will now next year add Mercedes Benz to that list!
Rightly or wrongly it's my choice to follow whatever driver I like .

@Bubbles - if no one cares about the runner up then why to the Hamilton fans make such a big deal about Lewis tying Alonso on points for the runner up spot in his rookie season?

There's a pretty good chance that Button is going to end up scoring more points than Lulu during their 3 years together at McLaren.
That must worry the fanboys, "average" Button out scoring "epic" Lulu over 3 years in the same team?

Oh I forgot it's all Martin Whitmarsh's fault! LMAO

I see Button has a 5 place grid penalty for Japan as he has to change his gearbox. Three car failures in three races at McLaren along with the many other botched up pit stops + not putting enough fuel in the car for quality in Spain. I think Lewis will be saying good riddance to all of that.
