I seem to remember that Schumacher was also the best driver of a bad car. He certainly didn't have the best car for two or three of his championship winning seasons. Anyway, I hope it all goes well for him. He can't be happy with probably just the one fortunate championship in five seasons.

Mercedes need to come up with something that's more consistent than their current car. Because qualifying at the back end of the top ten isn't going to win even the greatest of drivers any championships.

Hamilton shouldn't underestimate Rosberg when the car is doing what it should be doing, either! He's the guy that's already won a race in a mediocre Mercedes.

Some people can are idiots! Nikki did not say Lewis is the best driver in the world........he said in a bad car he is the best out there. What that simply means is that he is quick in whatever car you give him. Not neccessarily the best driver as in the full package that Alonso is. Also remember that English is perhaps Nikki's 3rd or 4th language so it could have been lost in translation.

I've been reading Lauda's opinions and predictions for years now and he makes a better racer than fortune teller. Funnily enough one of the most accurate bull****ters around is a certain Eddie Jordan, who doesn't have Lauda's credibility but really should.

Hamilton is like the Stoner of the field, competitive when the car isn't and every now and again he pulls out a qualifying lap that no one else can get near.

Yeah... The best driver who was unable to pass Michael Schumacher who was driving much more inferior car for almost 22 laps couple years ago.... Lauda just wants to keep his payroll slip from Merc..

Remember Alonzo lost world shamp last round becouse he couldn't pass Vitaly Petrov, that's not meaning he is not best driver
