mani -- how do you know the Lotus is inferior? No-one knows but, given that rookie Grosjean frequently qualifies it up front, it seems pretty damn fast.

Since you like facts:

When Massa and Kimi were team-mates, Massa scored more points, more race wins and more poles than Kimi. Why couldn't "the world's fastest man" keep up with Massa? Why can't he out-qualify rookie Grosjean?

Alonso destroys Massa, which suggests he's much better than Kimi.

As for the "no points for quali" comments, the point is that rubbish quali holds you back in the race. Even if Kimi beats Grosjean on Sundays, drivers who excel in quali AND racing (like Alonso) would maximise the car's potential more.

@Puddleman Since you like facts too

Trulli outqualify and outraced Alonso in 2004, and was sabotaged and kicked out from the team. Heikki generally outperform jarno, so is heikki the better driver than alonso?? Cant believe your double standard, alonso is allowed to had bad year while kimi aint allowed??

ALonso destroying massa is a common sense. Unlike kimi, alonso will selfishly demand the team to focus on him 100%, while kimi will stay at home and couldn't give a damn. Thats what schumacher said anyway, that the development in ferrari 2007-2009 was more towards massa as he spent more time on it than kimi.

And bloody hell, go join some technical forum and you'll know which car is inferior and which is not!! read more scarbsf1 article pls

cant believe ppl keep barking on alonso 's achievement against his teammate when his usual way of doing thing was bring in big sponsors and make the team focus on him solely!!

We all know how good alonso was when equal treatment was given in 2007....a rookie like lewis outperform him and he kept crying for attention...!! Wow, jenson outperform lewis last year...so button must be the best driver then =)

@Puddleman clearly you have issues with the "Iceman". At least Kimi has won a championship with Ferrari which Alonso has yet to do and when Kimi was team mates with Massa from 2097-2009 Massa was a much stronger driver than he is now.

As for Massa scoring more points than Kimi during their time as team mates then where are your sources? You must be having a laugh if you believe that. Also in 2008 Kimi had a bad season but he still ended up 3rd, if you're not impressed by his performances in his comeback year, well then... it looks like nothing will impress you in this sport. One more thing, go look at his race times, they're always ahead of Grosjeans race times.

@Puddleman if your car cant quali on pole, is better to save tyres for race and maximize your race pace.

Perez and kimi both demonstrated with such approach, they managed to outperform their teammate that generally focus on glory qualifying, but lacking pace to keep up with the front.

Its also true that kimi did suffer on inconsistent qualifying, who blame him??? coming back from 2 years, team failed to provide him the steering setup he wants, and much worst the car wasnt build around him unlike ferrari on alonso, mclaren on lewis, rbr on vettel. Kimi been coping well with these handicap, next year kimi will be much stronger, as his handicapped form can match the top 3, his perfect form will destroy the field.

You can look it up yourself to confirm that you're wrong, here are the facts:

2007 points:
Kimi 110, Massa 94
2008 points:
Kimi 75, Massa 97
2009 (first 9 races):
Kimi 10, Massa 22

TOTAL POINTS:
Kimi 195, Massa 213

2007 wins:
Kimi 6, Massa 3
2008 wins:
Kimi 2, Massa 6
2009 wins (first 9 races):
Kimi 0, Massa 0

TOTAL WINS:
Kimi 8, Massa 9

2007 poles:
Kimi 3, Massa 6
2008 wins:
Kimi 2, Massa 6
2009 poles (first 9 races):
Kimi 0, Massa 0

TOTAL POLES:
Kimi 5, Massa 12
----------------------------
Looking forward to the thumbs down from Kimi's fangirls -- to "disagree" with facts is to admit delusion!
