Think F1 will be a more boring place without him, even though it wasn't a hugely successful comeback having him in the sport added something. Monaco pole lap was the highlight for me anyway.

The first time he retired i was shocked. This time it was almost inevitable after being let down by a series of poor cars, and dropped by his team. I cannot see anyone topping his championship record. He's still the best.

Thanks for the long fruitful career, you made F1 exciting in the 90s loads of ups and down

What an ill-fated return that was!

He could have happily stayed back as a Ferrari brand ambassador and the world would have treated him as a living legend.

He did get money in the last 3 years, but it was very well proved that he was not as fast he seemed to be.

All he did was gather info and setup from Rubens and then the Ferrari team was always going to back him ONLY. No favors for Rubens.
