I don't get it with some of the old champions. They seem to feel the need to attack Michael - maybe because he overshadowed them with his records? Lauda, Stewart, Keke Rosberg, etc.

Smacks a little bit of jealousy, in my opinion. If JS believes Michael's driving is awful and he should have long retired, why was he not saying the same for Rubens and Massa and Trulli and Dela Rosa and all manner of worse drivers hanging around at the back for all these years?

@Barry
What's wrong about his watch that costs more than my apartment?
Michael spent on charity more than I will ever manage to earn.
He is not "our" guy but he never forgot where he came from.
And by the way, he shows respect to young guns too.

Well Jackster, 27 wins from 99 starts is a brilliant ratio. Just think, if instead of wimping out, all stressed, you'd carried on and driven in 334 grands prix, you would have matched Schumacher's tally.

To put matters in perspective, if Stewart had continued, and averaged six wins a year (just imagine!) he would have had to have raced till he was 45 to get to 91 wins .... he would have ended up racing Senna!

Sorry Jackie, you're entitled to your view but history's view
