Why would anyone want to employ a man who is so obviously a pariah?

Why would a man be deemed a pariah when he gets hired by someone?

arcuid, so what would you call a man who gives McLarens practice secrets away and threatens to lift the lid on next years developements, a saint?? If I were McLaren I'd retire him before the end of the season.

Quote
"He's been very interested in the exhaust system and the telemetry," a team insider is quoted as saying.

So are we to believe that he was never interested until now, or is this insider just making NOISE.
What use will the knowledge be to Mercedes, it may not suit there chassis and will be out of date by the time Lewis joins them.

@me I posted an earlier post to richard and sunny on this thread which had a quote from Martin Whitmarsh and his view of the situation including the webpage where his comments comes from. Read it and take what you will from the info and Whitmarsh's comment. From the looks of it McLaren is aware of Lewis' interest but are not so concerned about it.

If I were Lewis I would rather be "Kicking Myself Inside" than allowing my employer to kick Me.
Maybe he has some Pride unlike a lot of No.2s.

arcuid. did it not occur to you that whitmarsh may not be too worried, as lulu is not known to be an engineer who might understand the inner workings of a car. he is a driver. and he wont have driven the merc yet, so wont be able to compare. but he could tell merc such things as "their drd will work like this" etc

just take the paycheck Lewis, and smile at all the stupid slaves who have nothing but enmity and jealousy.

Two kinds of people in this world, those who waste their time hating people they dont know, and those who make a buck off stupid people who hate people they dont know, Lewis is still on top even if hes not getting supported by McLaren.

obviously McLaren dropped the ball if hes that far behind is teammate in qualifying, obviously hes most likely working in a hostile working environment, and obviously, only a slave would continue under those circumstances, and obviously the detractors are nobody slaves who blame Lewis for their ineptitude.
