Sebastian Vettel was left all-but unchallenged in the Japanese Grand Prix, after a first corner incident put championship leader Fernando Alonso out of the race.

I'm very disappointed that Vettel won today and Alonso spun out. Alonso would have certainly been on the podium today with the pace of the Ferrari.

Vettel only wins when he has the fastest car..he has never won a race consistently without the fastest car. Hence, I don't think he is a deserving champion this year.

Also, Vettle is a spoilt brat on the inside and isn't such a nice person as people think. He has shown his brat self and arrogance whenever he doesnt win. He only behaves when he wins..a 2 faced priXXck.

I hope Alonso comes back in the next 4 races and finishes ahead of Vettel.

jules. odd comment. first of all you say alonso would have won as he had the fastest car. then you go on to say that seb won because he had the fastest car!

the simple fact is that seb won, and alonso didnt. and personally, i would take sebs character over alonsos, any day. did you not hear alonso blaming kimi ? every time ferdi is involved with another car, he blames the other driver.

I hope Sauber re-sign Kobayashi, he's been a lot of fun to watch in the mid-field. He's also been with the team for a while now, I'd hate to see him dispatched just as the car is getting to race winning form.

If Sauber doesn't re-sign him, I'd like to see Lotus grab him. Kobayashi keeps his nose clean and is fairly quick in quali and in the race, I don't see why he wouldn't make a good pairing with Kimi.

richy i dont think jules said Alonso would have won he said he would have got podium and not that he had the fastest car but that the Ferrari had pace.

Richard, can you read? I as per "indianapolis2007" highlighted, I didn't say Ferrari had the fastest car, Alonso certainly had a good chance of being 2nd or 3rd and still maintaining a decent gap to spoilt brat Vettel.

Every driver complaints about other drivers that hit them from behind. At least Alonso isn't as arrogant and obnoxious as Vettel who called Narain K an Idiot. That is just plain disrespectful of fellow drivers...that is why I don't like Vettel. He is only nice when he wins..he doesn't know how to lose graciously and is immature. Period. Plus he is definitely not as good a driver as Hamilton or Alonso.

With the car Redbull had today, even Newey could have won the race himself if he drove it!! It is engineering superiority and not driver superiority. Sorry do ding Vettel, but that is how I feel about the poor sod.

Hehe. Vettel is going to stick his finger out to a lot of people on crash by the look of things. certainly has made the championship interesting by cutting the lead to 4 points. wonder which route Ferrari are now going to take. seem to be falling out of the development curve just as newsy turns it up. can't wait 4 next week

@jules "Also, Vettle is a spoilt brat on the inside and isn't such a nice person as people think. He has shown his brat self and arrogance whenever he doesnt win. He only behaves when he wins"

What a childish, stupid, inaccurate comment.

You know nothing of Sebastian Vettle.

What did you you think of Lewis Hammilton sulking with a third postion in a previous race then?
