Lewis Hamilton has been forced into another Twitter backtrack after posting comments after his team-mate's lack of respect....

The cracks will become rifts. Just wait until next year when Mercedes is in the midfield mixing it up with the Force India's and Toro Rossos. I'm sure it will be very entertaining watching and listening to Hamilton when he isn't gifted one of the best cars on the grid. I suspect he will end up quitting altogether and eventually end up racing pickup trucks or NASCARs in a circle in America.

Bit of a mistake here.

"Both Button and Hamilton
currently count on more than a
million Twitter followers,
although the latter posts less
frequently - and with decidedly
more care...."

In 3 years JB never followed Hamilton on Twitter, he followed Sergio Perez within a short time after it was announced that the Sauber driver was joining what is now 'his' team.

Jose

Who is the bigger dummy? The people who read the actual post on the official twitter page and comment on that? Or the guy who will excuse ANYTHING the Twitterer does as wave after wave of conspiracy? Just saying mate... There comes a time where excuses should run dry...

Jose, Ah I see where you're coming from, probably Massa or Maldonado that hacked into Lulu's twitter account, we all know Lulu would never do anything stupid. Or was it Whitmarsh, Vettel, RBR, Ferrari, Alonso, Button etc etc etc.

Mercedes - You've signed an immature liability who just can't do the right thing, ever!

Jose, just speaking the truth that Lewis should be more careful and a Twitter account is mostly used by the account owner. I follow both guys on Twitter and the material or posts they have posted are pretty personal like the time Lewis was heartbroken about his Aunt Diane's cancer and subsequent death prior to the Belgian GP and that Telemetry fiasco or Jenson's visit to Cebu here in the Philippines for a triathlon. No PR would have posted that. I too have made dumb mistakes when it came to Twitter but the diff is I'm not on the public eye. Lewis is. I'm surprised his management is not advising him on the dangers of social media.

I've never been anti Hamilton - I thought "maybe it's because I'm black" was funny, and everyone has daft moments. But I'm shocked that he is so off the planet that he would judge Button so lightly and without checking. It's only a phone call mate. For the first time I can understand what people say about his fairytale career. I still don't blame him 'cos he doesn't know what he's doing, but everyone around needs to watch out.
