@Taipan

Might have been Dave Richards that said that, he certainly said that about Colin.

I have my doubts that Maldarnado has the temperament to be that controlled, he's got the speed though.

F1 needs drivers such as Maldonado and Grosjean. Fast and furious and real tryers - like Ayrton Senna used to be. Its car racing. Its dangerous. If you dont like it, go and watch syncronised swimming. Nothing against the likes of Rosberg and DiResta but they are hardly exciting are they ?

Haven't had the best car? Joking aren't you Maldonado, that is the best car Williams has put out in a long time, and the reason it hasn't been on the podium more often is because Senna is hopeless and Maldonado just wants to crash into everyone and try to kill people on track.

I have no doubt in my mind that Rubens would have consistently put that car on the podium, and not crashed once this year.

Maldonado, as for where he should go next year? Texas Destruction Derby sounds good

I really hope he doesn't end up at Sauber. He's a pay driver, fast but stupid. I want to see Formula 1 purged of these rich kids with little race craft. We want sponsors in F1, but they should really invest in talent not flops.

Pastor is a future great. Every great out there started off being fast but stupid. He is no exception.

For those who think that RB would have done better, you are deluding yourselves. RB was an also ran, a decade plus in a championship car and he score 11 wins. Whoot. Evan Massa could better that one.

Yes he's made some obviously stupid mistakes. But he's also won, which is more than 30-odd drivers can say over the past few years.

Fast, stupid, and very well backed: sounds like Schumi circa 1993 to me.

Welcome to the big leagues Pastor.
