@ blublz,

Ferrari would have to hope that rain is on the forecast for Saturday as it has been clear this season that the Ferrari doesn't have the single-lap qualifying pace in the dry to threaten the front row. Alonso will do what he does best: drive the wheels off his machinery and some, but with Red Bull and McLaren clearly more competitive and Lotus modifying their exhaust for this Grand Prix, the Spaniard is going to need a "straight flush" to head into India still the championship leader.

Well, Fernando does know how to play cards right haha.

I think he still needs to have the same mindset. He needs to finish ahead of his closest rival. Even if he finishes second behind Vettel, Vettel will still take the lead. This isn't the time of the year to rely on consistency, as he has all season. Yes it will help, but I have a feeling the Red Bull may be past its unrelability phase. Ferrari NEED to make a step forward.

Even if Algy was/is midfield material at best the way Helmut put him on the sidelines was despicable and also the wrong decision. Look at how STR does this year, they have a crap car that hasn't improved all year (no surprise with two rookies), one driver who seems to be able to qualify ok but can't race well and one driver who can't qualify and a little better in the races. Furthermore because they fired both drivers, nobody can really tell if it's mostly the car or mostly the drivers who are the problem, because there's no known quantity as a benchmark.

It's rediculously bad management and Helmut and Tost need to go away ASAP.
