Ah, yes, that pesky yellow flag. HHhhhmmmmm.
looking like a cold wind will be blowing all over maclaren till they get a top rated driver. By that i mean one that has a stand out ability like drive really really fast or, not all out speed but handle a mishandling car or, qualify on pole and defend like you life depended on it. We can always hope that maclaren will come up with a 1.5 sec advantage over the other teams and then, watch 'but but' fly!

He had the pace to mix it up with the Red Bulls & his team mate, possibly ahead of Hamilton.

Unfortunately he made a mistake on his first run & then he had yellow flags to contend with. These things happen.

I hope he has a good race tomorrow and can make some passes and get near the front!

@dilly so that explains why Hamilton couldn't outpace Button when he had set up problems. You Hamilton fanboys just pick & choose what you want to believe. You clearly are watching the wrong sport. A WC is a top rate driver, your name explains your knowledge of this sport...

Jenson had locked up his front wheel before he got to the yellows, so his lap was already partly compromised. He had not posted a reasonable banker in Q2 beforehand and was left trying to do it after the chequered flag had waved. The yellow flags were only one factor in Jenson's demise.

Four tenths behind Hamilton's car is always going to require good fortune to progress to Q3 this season, other drivers tend to get ridiculed for being that far behind the sister car

What a made up excuse from Button! Many drivers were at the same area on track as him all he had to do was not lap the quickest ever personal sector time. Many others still managed good lap times to get into Q3.

Blimey, it's a bit early for the fanboys to be out of their cots! I'm surprised these youngsters know much about Hamilton given it is so long since he had a decent end of year position in the championship

@Smokin maybe because Lewis for over-driving too much the McLaren trying to get it somewhere whereas Button was happy to just pick up the pieces of whatever came his way.
