I thought the car was design to suite golden boy's driving style! Even down to the nose of the car was down to Button in mind. in the last 6 years McLaren had Crybaby, Heikki and Golden Boy driving so dont blame it on Lewis. Mclaren had 3 drivers that won the WDC in the last 21 years so hey he did is bit.

You know what I would pay Martin Whitmarsh if he could smile a bit.

Ron I mean LewisMerc, I'm guessing Whitmarsh will have a big smile on his face come December when he watches Lulu, his ego, his entourage, his fanboys and all of the BS that surrounds him leave Woking for the last time.

lulumerc. do yopu ever look at what you write? first of all you say that the merc was designed around goldenboy, and then you say it is button. for months you have been inundating us with comments that lulu is the golden boy! have you downgraded him since his defection?
then you oddly say that the nose of the macca was designed for button. ???????????! have you any idea how silly that sounds?

as ty says, martin will be smiling come december. but it will then be brawn who has the scowl on his face, when he finds out what daimler ag have foisted on him.

Everyone bitchin about Lewis,He beat the so called best driver (Alonso) with the same car and would have done so again if Fernando had allowed him at Ferrari. Had a terrible last year and Button only just beat him.All Buttons done is win in Ross Brawns super car, and it shows you it was down to the car cus a past it Rubens came runner up, that's how much it was down to Buttons ability. If Hamilton was in a red bull the title wud be sewn up already.

Brian, far be it from me to call you a clueless fanboy, but I think history suggests that Vettel was runner up to Button in 2009 NOT Barrichello.
Now that you've learned that little fact I hope you will sod off and learn to spell, wud and cus are not words I assure you.

Disappointing to see poor English in a published story:
'Hamilton would then emerge as the closest challenger to the two Red Bull's in the final stage of qualifying although the 2008 title winner admitted he was lucky to have even got that far.'
As a plural of 'Red Bull' the apostrophe before the 's' is unnecessary.

Richard, After reading brian's post again "Fud" is the word that spings to mind (A popular Glasgow word)

What do you make of that Korean track? The surrounding areas look like a building site, or maybe a demolition site, it's a shambles.
