Brian, could not agree with you more Lewis if fully focused will beat all in the same car. But being the most famous f1 driver in history it can cause him to lose focus sometimes, but has for Alonso 2007 is a blot on his cv which will take him to his grave, gaint killing on a mega scale.

IndyRon, That's 2 new accounts, I guess leaving us was harder than you thought?
Shame that Lulu has done very little since drawing with Alonso in 2007 eh, although sneaking past Massa at the last gasp in 2008 I suppose is his other highlight. Not really been the epic career that you were all expecting is it? And now he's running off to a mid field team to make more money and expand his brand, sod the racing, you must be so proud.

GroundHOG, what Lewis did to Alonso in 2007 equates to what Ali did to Liston , another David and Goliath. Ghog we will never again see giant killing like this in our lifetime.

Taipan, richards attack on me the other night left me hurt and dejected and i thought of Lewis who is also being persecuted and i thought you know what let me be like my hero and take on all comers.

Btw, Lewis may have had the same amount of points as Alonso but beat him on count back EPIC

Ron Are you going to grow a little beard and borrow your mums earrings to complete your replication?

Ali - Liston is a stupid comparison, Liston was past it by 1964, 10 years older than Clay, out of shape and rather fat. Better to look at Ali - Frazier, Frazier out boxed Ali for 2 of their 3 fights yet Ali is the famous one that the fanboys cling to, now that sounds far more like Lulu doesn't it?

the 2008 title winner admitted he was lucky to have even got that far.'

I have never heard so much rubbish in my life, Lewis had one corner to pass Glock and he nailed it end of story, whereas in 2010 Alonso had over 100 corners to pass Petrov to win the title.

martin will be smiling come december - the sound of a P45 comes to mind.

@LewisMerc Hamilton nearly through away a championship in the best car to a determined Massa who done more to deserve the championship but his team messed up a lot during that season.

If Hamilton is so great then why hasn't he finished higher than 4th since 2008?

Also to the numpty earlier on this page. Button beat Hamilton last year by 43 points. The last time I checked that was quite a lot of points! When will the Hamiton fans realise that Hamilton isn't as great as they think.

I'm up to my wits end with these Hanilton fans that think they know everything but they know nothing as they've probably only been fans since 2007/08 and then go trolling to beat down the drivers, next year they'll learn Hamilton isn't the God they all believe he is!

Liam48 and the year before lewis beat button by 26 points so what also in the time they have been in F1 together including this year hamilton has headed the drivers points on jenson 4 times to 2 again big deal. Im happy just watching the best drivers in the world race and to be honest i don,t give a crap what they say outta the car or off track or do either all i want is to see them race and you hamilton haters will be right about him next year he will struggle with the merc unless they have a much better car but even with this car i do think he will be better than nico and thats not knocking nico just i think hamiloton will get more out of the car but this is just my opinion

Liam48 - Button beat Hamilton last year by 43 points.

Look you always attack people who attack Button, but your doing the same, in 2009 after the first 8 races when it looked like Button was carrying a 747 engine he built his advantage, but when things leveled out then Button decided to tip toe to the end he won no race during the second half of the season, But Barrichello won some races. In 2008 Ferrari was a faster car they had most of the pole and fastest laps and won the WCC title, Lewis was penalised for even leaving a skid mark on the track, in 2010 Lewis had 4 dnf and still finished ahead of Button and was in the title race till the last day (mathematically) Last year Lewis retired 3 times but had more pole and equal wins with Button, but Button was out of the title race after Singapore which he carried no fight to RBR. The main fact here Button started in 2000, Lewis started in 07 and won the following whether he was Lucky to win the 08 but he was unlucky not to win the prev
