Astroturf tangle on LH car!
It's really shame for Korean GP organizer. Why they laid poor quality Astroturf on race track?
I don't know whether the Astroturf were used in other track or not but the incident is really shame and that can compromise safety of drivers.

Poor old Nico, he will be getting an earful in 2013. Yeah Lewis, it's all McLaren's fault. Merc is going to be a lot worse Lewis you can count on it. I think the guy you will be taking his seat has just about had a bellyful of their cars and that's probably why he didn't even care about contesting his retirement.

from the posts here people are forgetting what an utter disaster Mercedes has been this season, they think that Hamilton is going to fix everything just by going there. what a sad lot blaming McLaren for Lewis' misadventures... take a look at Schumacher's non finishes and Nico R has stalled since getting on the podium and those early points.

George Zaidan, you're obviously not.mechanically minded. The anti roll bar failure changes the balance of the car continually, meaning sometimes the car will be putting less load one side than the other. That makes the car unstable and can lead to continual brake locking. Some corners he was braking 10/15 metres earlier than he had been and still locked up.

David Chaste JB never drove for Sauber. He drove for Williams then Renault. He bought himself out of a return to Williams to drive for BAR / Honda.

George Zaidan,
Try this..Mercedes payed out the cash, got one of the best drivers in F1 for 3 years.OK!
They have the cash, they have the best engine in F1. Resources,
the best in the Automotive world. Do you think they will
suffer a another embarrassment like this season, next year.
The wrath of things to come from Mercedes will start next
season..w/ Hamilton and Rosberg..

Correct you is..Spelling, poor..Grammer, very poor, sentence
structure, poor. Punctuation, poor..But, for some reason you
get and understand the message. The other posters do. They know the Old Dog is short on the education side.

The team are already looking towards the future next season and it's says something about the team that they've already cut Lewis Hamilton out of their ridiculous cartoon animation series that is shown on Sky. Typical.

Ted Kravitz summed the situation up perfectly on Ted's Notebook edition. He said Hamilton has basically already 'checked out' of McLaren and the same can be said about McLaren. He stated that the relationship between Button and Whitmarsh, in his opinion, has played a significant role in the tension and akward environment found at McLaren. Button's universal popularity inside McLaren is undoubted and this was in further evidence in Japan. Hamilton booked 16 lanes of bowling in Japan as a thankyou gift to the team, however Lewis later found out the team instead decided to join Jenson on a fun-run.

Hamilton cannot join Mercedes any sooner in my opinion.
