Pretty clear that the only movements left will be Hulkenberg and Guttierez at Sauber, Alguersuari to Force India, Bottas to Williams and (failing driver who shouldn't be on the grid at all but has money, e.g. Senna) at Caterham.

Too many drivers not enough seats...
And by the way I doubt Timo Glock will be out of a seat because he may have been Marussias lifeline in terms of the championship, and even if they replace him, I'm sure Caterham would be interested. Also if Petrov racks up a decent sponsor, he will moat likely be on these 2 teams lists.

Would be the stupidest move ever if Sauber replaces Koba with Kova. I don't think it'll happen though as Kovalainen also doesn't exactly have a big bag of coins behind him I think. They'll probably go Hulk-Guttierez. Peter Sauber seems dead set on Hulk (possibly with some coins attached and with an eye to keeping Ferrari happy) and as Carlos foots the bill he pretty much has to put Guttierez in that car. We'll have to see how that goes, maybe Kamui should stick around as it wouldn't be the first time Sauber calls up an old known quantity to replace a struggling or injured driver.

At Caterham I think Giedo vd Garde has an outside chance if he brings a big bag of chips (which he has). Already part of the team, won some races with Tony Fernandez in the pits for the GP2 team this year...One last chance to take the leap. Maybe if Petrov's cash falls through and/or Heikki leaves he could have a shot.

@porcilina Are we watching the same Bruno Senna? He may have trouble qualifying but have you seen the way he climbs up the grid? Take Korea for example, started a good 5 places down from his teammate but still climbed up to finish just behind him. Believe me if he could sort out his qualifying he would most definitely been near enough always in the points. You may not like it but there is no denying he has skill.

Just saying I remember the final GP2 race in Singapore in the sprint Giedo won that and Tony was obviously right there on what is pretty much his home turf celebrating etc. Sometimes a result like that can go a long way in terms of goodwill etc.

And at least they guy also won a feature race this year in not the very best car, so he did alright. Who knows.

If not then we Dutch fans must once again set our sights to a new hope, Robin Frijns. And then Nyck de Vries after Robin fails to bring a bag of gold to the table...

sutil should be up for consideration at least. he was much better than Paul. and tho paul was a rookie, i dont think he has improved much ( as most dont in second season in fairness)

but either way sutil should be in there somewhere

Ryan, the Hulk thing hasn't been confirmed. But you're correct.

Not really sure when Sauber are planning to decide, if they are being honest with us about still not fully decided on the final line up and "in no rush".. They may wait until USA or Brazil to make their final decision. Monisha claims the sponsorship from Mexico is not disappearing next year despite Perez moving on and she has also refused to confirm Esteban. She also refuted Kobayashi's statement that he *needed* sponsorship to remain at Sauber "he knows thats not the case". So what is the rub? I keep wondering if it may hinge on whether Sauber get that 5th place in the constructors. It's worth a few extra million to the team and it shows they are moving forward and being successful.

I don't think Heikki Kovalainen will be good for Sauber seat because he couldn't shine on even McLaren Mercedes.
LH is good but he should be on Podium often or score points often if not win the race. Heikki isn't better than KK.
Nico Hulkenberg will get Sauber seat unless KK found sponor.

The hulk hasnt been confirmed by sauber, but a deal has been reached to race. They are just finalising the contract/fees with agents etc. but an agreement has taken place
