Wish he would drive a real Lotus, like the Lotus 79 that he so artfully drove in the past. Not a Renault that has Lotus painted on the side pods.

Regardless, will be nice to have him in Austin.

Good to see the "old war Dog" ready to make some loud noise,
again.
The has raced anything and everything with four wheels, and
won!.. Here in Brooklyn we call him , Goombta
"Super Mario"..
..how sweet it is..

Regogo Racing has been asked to bring Lotus 79/1 to the Austin event. Doc Bundy won in her last month at the SVRA event at Watkins Glen. If Mario Andretti wants to drive her again it will be there for him, along with former Lotus mechanic, and current head of Risi Competizione, Dave "Beaky" Sims.

At least they've chosen Mario. No sane F1 team would let his son Michael anywhere near an F1 car again after his laughable stint in F1. "American F1 driver" - that'd be Mario, can't recall anyone else worthy of the designation for quite some time.

Mrfill,
I got your Vaseline, warn and ready, say when...The how part
is your dog baby.

oldie..how about Dan Gurney, Phil hill, or the late Rithie
Ginter

I hope Miro drives the Lotus, I'll pretend that I'm young again
and just smile a little..
