Still thinks he could have whipped the teams into shape after getting the budget cap proposals tied down. There would have been a lot of pain involved forcing the proposals through although I'm sure they could have a cup of tea and discuss it when the meeting was over.

Go away you spanking loving idiot. Because of YOU we had 15 years of 2 pitstop borefest, long long "chess games" like you called to see a single overtake in the pits, and races pretty much over after the first corner.

Your only saving grace was the crash tests, and even those were put forth after your irresponsible banning of all aids back in 1994, wich prompted a number of casualties that shapped this sport for years to come.

I won't even dwell on all the stupid technical decisions, like the narrow cars, the threaded tires, etc etc, that made the cars stupidly aero dependent...

Go away Max, you damaged this sport enough for a lifetime.

The only controversy in the last few years has been about sporting regulations, flexy wings the usual. Before that, it was MM giving his opinion on this, that and the other and generally rubbing up the fans and teams the wrong way. He may have done some good things during his time, but it's been a breathe of fresh air since he left.

I, for one, think the original 2010 budget cap regs THAT WERE PASSED BY THE FIA COUNCIL would have been the greatest thing to ever happen to F1.

Do whatever you want for 45M Euros a year, oh and that doesnt include driver salaries or engine/gearbox costs. So 45M just to build the most ridiculous aero chassis with moving wings and unlimited AWDKERS for added power.

I think the crybabies that inhabit this planet (and to a large extent this forum) have no vision, and they prompted the Poison Dwarf Bernie to throw a fit and have the properly voted regs overthrown.

For once, I would like to see someone with some balls in charge, and Todt is not it. What has Todt done that is any better than Mosley???

ck. well, for a start......todt has over seen the changes in the rules that resulted in red bull being hobbled, bringing the cars closer again, but stifling innovation. he did this under pressure from some other team.

i thought that he would have been strong enough to stand up to the pressure from a team, but alas, it seems not.

i saw the interview with mm, and when asked if he thought that it was sensible taking f1 to third world countries, he said yes, but that bernie would take out more lolly than f1 would benefit the country.

seems as if bernie is still not on his christmas card list!
