Formula 1 is a downhill sport compare videos from 30 or 20 or even 15 years ago to current F1 racing, the sport has become a synthetic series completely different from what it was meant to be. I rather watch the BTCC than modern F1.

Yeah Dylan, but it's still far better than NASCAR or Indy.
And BTCC isn't on the tube where I live.

Interesting quote from Ol' Max, saw him on the Sky F1 Show, well spoken and intelligent. Would be interesting to have him as colour commentator on the Sky Coverage on a regular basis.

Cost cutting? Cut CVCs share of profit retension from 50% to 10%! I know it will not happen.... Bernie/CVC is taking half of the profits F1 makes and then has audacity to ask for gov public spending money as well! and on top of that we have to pay to watch F1!!!
It all goes one way: direct transfer of money from our pockets to CVC. EVERYONE is worse off exept for CVC. Drivers are payed less, teams are asked to cut running costs, less technical development etc.
CVCs profit share should be a major part in cost cutting!!!
