F1 will miss Michael, if he has been unable to make the merc work then I have no doubt whatsoever that Hamilton will not do it. Michael was double WDC when he went to Ferrari in 1996, he built a team around him and was always working to acheive the fantastic success that came from 2000 until he retired in 2006. He obviously would have like to emulate that with Mercedes but time was not on his side. Michael you are the best and no-one will ever beat 5 consecutive WDC and 7 in all.

No surprise here, he found out that he is not god, he it's just a driver like the others, I didn't saw his super powers when it comes to car setup, leadership, building the team around him and blablabla, just a myth.

In a few years time when the likes of Button and Alonso start to struggle in their late thirties people will then appreciate how well Schumacher did just to compete in his forties.

Ross Brawns reputation however is gone down the pan for me. What a disaster Mercedes have been they start of 4th best team and end up 7th or 8th best and some of the race strategies have been comical at times.

Almost three seasons at the team and the car was fast in China (Schumies car broke), and Monaco (he got pole, a grid penalty, and then I think it his car broke), the rest of the races this season, whien he finishes he has usually been the first Mercedes to cross the finish line, Rosberg got the win, but Schumacher has kept the team ahead of Sauber and now Force India Mercedes

The truth is that Schumacher is the greatest ever and he should never of retired in the first place because he would have won at least 1 more title. All the best for the future Schumacher with whatever you decide to do.
