There the nut goes again! "Vettel had a dominant car all the time, that's why he wins."
I'm calling B.S.
And what with this notion that "Vettel can only win in a dominant car?"
Seb very nearly ran down Jenson Button for the 2009 title with a handicap start to the season (no double diffuser.)
And in '10 Seb won and Ferdi BEAT the sister car Webber was driving. And again in '11 Seb won and Button beat Webber in the sister supposed "supercar" that Red Bull had.
And now again this season, 2012, Vettel is winning and Ferdi, Kimi, and Lulu are all beating Webber.
How could the car be so dominant if these other drivers are consistently beating the "other" Red Bull?
Maybe its the DRIVER in the #1 Red Bull making a difference.

To all the Hamilton fanboys

Can someone please explain to me what 'Raw Pace' is.

We are continually told that Hamilton has the most of it, but what exactly is it?

Does it differ from 'Cooked Pace'?

Lot people who are either stupid wearing blinkers or are bias fan boys but im not here to insult anyone by calling names as those that call people names more than likely can only do it from their keyboards.

The fact that Red bull have declined offers from f1 fastest driver to drive for them as they don't wont a serious challenge to Vettel so it stands to reason that Red Bull's owner, adviser and team principal are happy to have a driver who is clearly a number 2 and does not have the ability challenge their no1 driver to partner him as he is not a top driver but a driver who will bring the car home and score points.

oooorrr, RBR is looking at the "fastest F1 driver" last season and thinking thank you but nooo thank you would not want that behavior in our team. RBR are wrapping up all the titles again this year, WHY would they want to hire a loose canon???

indy. i doubt that redbull would even consider "offers". maybe what you meant to say that rbr have declined PLEAS? rbr know what they want, and THEY would approach a driver if they felt they needed to get another driver. and i would fully agree that they close the door to any person who went knocking on the door of their motorhome! just as they have already done.

"dont call us, we'll call you......."

Ask your Team principal who has said he could not handle Lewis and Vettel in the same team . The fact is Mclaren will put any driver up against Lewis like 2 wdc and Lewis will not object but Ferrari and Red Bull drivers are scared to face Hamilton in the same team simple.

Any other excuses why your favorite driver is nowhere again this year indy07?

Because the reasons so far arereally getting old, and only make sense through a very biased lense.

indy. you seem to read something different into statements. ferrari and rbr have both said they couldnt handle lulu. and that is what they meant.
imagine trying to cope with lulus tantrums whist their no.1 driver is working with the team to improve it. de montezemelo himself has said that they did not go to any other driver, and that includes lulu. and rbr have also said that they would only go for one of their academy drivers. lulu approached both, and was rebuffed by both.
yes, he might get priority in merc, but lets wait and see how he performs against nico.

Taz

If the longest pitstop is a pretty pointless stat then so is the shortest pitstop stat?? Which makes your previous post also pretty pointless.

Regardless of whether they hold the shortest or longest pitsop stats the fact is they have between those two all important stats they have consistently had problems during pitsops and some very questionable strategies.
