richard, there is a story going round that Ferrari was considering Lewis but it was vetoed by Alonso and when Lewis went into the Red Bull motor home the rumors started about Lewis going to Red bull. Bild the German Newspaper had a picture of Lewis in a Red Bull outfit and interviewed Vettel asking him what do you think if Lewis comes to Red Bull Vettel replied No we prefer Hamilton where he is at Mclaren.

Take it from me richy Alonso and Vettel are running scared of Hamilton unlike Button who came to Mclaren for self and driver improvement.

The real difference comes down to dedication and focus. Hamilton has too often failed to capitalize on what McLaren puts up, while Vettel wrings every last thousandth out of what Red Bull delivers. While Hamilton was playing rock star, Vettel is knuckling down and focusing, visited the Pirelli factory to understand how the tires were made and work, etc. Hamilton lacks commitment, while Vettel is possibly the most committed driver in F1 today. That is the single greatest advantage he has, making whatever advantage Red Bull delivers that much greater.

indy. of course it is easy to start "stories", but i prefer to listen to the team principals. there have been lots and lots of "stories" with 99% of them being pure speculation. it suits some to try and big-up their idols.

if thats what you need to believe to feel good about backing Lewis - fair enough.
I think neither Vettel nor RBR wasting much thought about Lewis, they have the eye on the price and the focus already on next years title defens

I dont know where you got that from but a less than perfect RBR would see webber finish ahead of Vettel on race day.

Your wrong! When the car had a better straight line speed and less down force all we heard was vettel screaming down the radio Up till the British GP, everyone was saying Vettel this and that, if not for Newey he wont this and that, Even Webber said the car feels like the 2010 car after the mid summer break the car went from looking like the 2010 car to Looking like the 2011 car. Look I like Vettel and I hope he wins this season, but currently the car suite his driving style more than Webber.
