How did Weber 'out drive' Hamilton, if Hamilton caught Weber in an inferior McLaren that had downshift failure and needed a new steering wheel in the first phase of the race, which incidently cost over a second extra in the pit stop.

This is important as weber only beat Hamilton by 0.7 second.

you could look at it like this, if Red Bull hadnt nerfed up Webber's KERS again he wouldnt have been in that position and Ferrari would been 3rd on the podium. Guess it all worked out for the tv and Mark, the sacrificial lamb.

This race was about as blatent as it could get without CH literally blowing a big fat raspberry at everybody
Total manipulation seen by all -excepting of course those so blinded by infatuation

I cannot understand why people on here keeps insinuating manipulations of sorts against Webber by the team, to me it never looked like Webber was a problem for Vettel during the race.
On the other hand what I may dare (insinuate) is my believe that both Webber and Lulu might not have been personally sorry for letting Alonso by in pursuit of Vettel, not that they could have done any more then wasting some time for him to get by.

Well defended by MW. As for the LH arguement. Both Ferrari and Mac had the top end sharge sorted on this track, but there is only 1 decent straight to gain on. the rest is RB territory. i was surprised that LH couldnt get past MW but in his sporadic fashion LH makes the call and changes his mindset back to pessimisn and concede mental defeat. if he could just keep quiet and get on with it that may have been a different story all together. howevr after hestarted lociing up, i knew LH couldnt catch MW. when you look at it in a tech perspective MW was 80hp down and still LH couldnt catch MW.

@F1 Fan - Webber 'out drove' Hamilton because Webber had either no or reduced power KERS for two-thirds of the race. Hamilton's steering wheel problem cost him one second in the pits, once. KERS was reportedly worth .3s per lap in India, so Webber was losing a second approximately every three laps.

This is important because KERS makes a massive difference on long straights after a low speed entry. The point is not that Webber beat Hamilton by only 0.7s, it is that Webber was able to hold off a McLaren while his car was at significantly reduced power.

BTW, there are two 'b's in Webber.
