It's good for Lotus, and good for F1 for Kimi to remain in the sport. He's driven hard this year for little reward, as shown by his 3rd position in the Driver's Championship, ahead of one Red Bull and both McLarens.

Sure one of the big three will be interested if he has another year like 2012. The Lotus was painfully slow in a straight line, must have been a hugely frustrating race for him but Massa drove well too.

Kimi deserves a better car.
Unfortunately I don't think Lotus can provide that. Had he been in a Red Bull, Ferrari or McLaren this year he'd have won a race or two by now.

Good news for both parties and specially for Finland. Kimi is happy to finish wherever it's possible without risking a dnf while Lotus is happy to get the marketing out of Kimi although he said he will try to finish 4th in the championship to that the Fia end year ceremony doesn't get into his holidays schedule lol.

Enormously over rated. That Kimi is their best choice reflects the derth in talent today. When you have pay drivers occupying most of the seats in F1, this is sadly the result. F1 is no longer a sport. It is big business, and money talks.

What a waste of his prodigious talent

- he should be pedalling a far better car than this Lotus to give him a proper chance to show what he can do

I would love to see what he could do in a Red Bull

sakkie. kimi overrated??? well that must mean that lulu, button, webber, etc are even more overrated, as they have been driving better cars than kimi, yet he is ahead of them in the wdc!

kimi was underrated by both macca and ferrari, so i wonder what parameters do you use to arbitarily call him overrated?
