No doubt, Kimi's performance has been very much overlooked this year. One can only wonder what he would have done were he driving a Red Bull. If that were the case, in my opinion, the WDC would have been decided in Kimi's favor by now.

Great championship from Kimmi so far! Definitely one of the most underrated performances of the year.

Makes me wish Lotus had a decent (or at least less dangerous) second driver. Grosjean is not a bad driver but you can see he's in over his head more often than not. Maybe if Lotus had kept Senna (I know... I know... but I still think he's consistent enough for a 'new' driver who gets no Friday Practices on a new car) things could be even better.

Love Kimi, probably my favorite driver...but...people are a little too in love with him. He is not quite so fast as expected. RoGro has been awfully quick in comparison. KR has brought the car home, and there have been the moments shown why he is respected.

But I expected more, frankly.

not quite as fast?? The only reason romain beat him in qualifying is due to kimi 's mistakes being too often in Q3. He often proceed to Q2 with prime tyre, while Romain required options tyre to gone through.

In race, Romain cant even live with Kimi 's pace. Thats why you only seen lotus 's amazing race pace from kimi in both bahrain and hungary.

He started to improve and outqualify romain in recent races, continue to improve and eradicate mistake, kimi will be a force to be reckon with.
