Whilest people will obviously compare Jev and Daniel to Jaime and Sebastian, its not really a fair comparison from last years performance. Yes the current drivers have scored less points than last years drivers but remember at the same stage of the season last yearBuemi had 2 whole seasons of experience and Alguersuari had 1 1/2, while this is Ricciardo and Jev's 1st full season in F1.

Let's just hope Torro Rosso don't do the same thing as last year and lead them on and then sack them after its too late to find another team.

Surely this debate must include who the potential replacements might be ? Are there any RedBull backed drivers really pushing for a chance. I do not think this is the case - they could very easily have given the Red-Bull testing role to someone new and not Buemi if they wanted to.

All these youngsters are the future of F1. If these two are not going to be retained for next year, the least the owner can do is to let them know now! I know money talks in F1, but any one of them could do a better job than Kathikeyan in that HRT lol.

Given STR's history of terminating performing drivers these guys would be crazy not to take any opportunity at another team. The only thing that they can be sure of is that they will be replaced at some point.
