It's not just Crash. This non story, and numerous others, show up on all the other F1 sites too. Team has a result in the race - "strong team leader" comes out with a "strong team leader" statement either congratulating or rallying - it's covered by the world as if it's news or makes a difference. Meanwhile the team probably just get after it the way they were always going to anyway. It's all a bit tedious.

"admitting that Red Bull has the advantage when it comes to outright speed"

It does not. In terms of outright speed the RB is one of the slower cars on the grid. It does have better cornering speed than the other cars.

Give Alonso a car that can compete with RBR and you will win the championship, simple.

I'm not a big fan of saying who "deserves" the championship, BUT FFS Alonso deserves it this year after the way he's driven and that's taking nothing away from Vettel who has done nothing wrong.

"Give Alonso a car that can compete with RBR and you will win the championship"

He's had a car all season which can compete with the RB, which is why he's still in contention. And he seemed quite competitive in India as well. I don't know why everyone keeps claiming that the Ferrari is a pig, since it's clearly quite a fast car.
