Lewismerc, if Mercedes will not start from scratch on next year's car, something that I very much doubt They will do, they will have a much bigger job trying to match an improved upon already fast car that the other's clearly have.
Richard, my age and rappers concerts doesn't go together, but I was serious about Lulu coming to town and going to see him in person, he is supposed to be burning some rubber over here, I have good friends from the local mclaren fan boys club so!!!, the date is not the 24th, but it is undisclosed which am sure you will understand.

he might not be able to challenge for podiums next year, but his team cannot afford to have him not challenging for podiums now.

who knows whats going to happen next year, all we really know is Pirelli have been told to slow down the field even further, so that should give the teams a few rounds to figure out how to manage their tires before Red Bull formulate their equations for best effect.

The problem here is the fact that the DDRS is not working and the idea of rolling this car into next year is head scratching now they are doing their utmost best to hold off Sauba, next year would it be Torro-Rosso and Force India that currently look fast enough!

My Advice: Poach Adrian Newey from RBR, (MONEY TALKS)

@Seperated - Given the lack of testing allowed currently you may have a point about driver contributions to development. If there was unlimited testing like in the old days I think that MS and Merc may have acheived more than they have.

He's being realistic and this shouldn't come as a surprise. Mercedes is probably going to suck. It really doesn't make a difference does it? If he would've stayed at Mclaren he wouldn't be a title contender either. Maybe, a pretender. He would win his usual 3 to 4 grand prix a year. Mclaren is way too inconsistent and will always find a way to screw things up. History is not on their side. How many many people on this forum thinks Mclaren will win the WDC & Constructors Championship next year? Exactly. lol

Lewis will need to show some different qualities at Merces next season the team will be looking to him for some sort of input apart from driving fast and at 27 i would hope Lewis would be capable of still exciting us while helping Ross and his team to push the competitiveness of 2013 car.

Good luck mate cant wait for 2014.
