Solid, realistic answer, don't see anything wrong with it. I don't like the guy much, but sometimes you guys tear people apart for no reason at all. The rule change may even out the field a bit, so he has a good chance of making a difference after next season.

@bozgp - actually the longer the rules stay the same the more even the field becomes. The rule change may shake up the normal order a bit but I doubt that it will make the teams closer.

And now Mercedes gets their first taste of the Lewis Hamilton media bombshell.... "Nah I don't figure I will be winning much next year unless the team gives me a good car". Priceless

Lewis quote-

"When you move to a new team that's not been successful, it doesn't just change like that ....It takes months and months, maybe 12-14 months, and I anticipate that will be the case.”

Sounds like Lewis believes he will be the antedote to Merc's woes. Maybe he will, but it comes accross as a touch arrogant given that his F1 career so far has been to receive one of the best cars in the field from day one.

Smart words... marketing is all behind them...
If Merc doesn't perform it will be :I predicted that and told you so..."
If Merc does perform and thus Lewis... he will be a "hero"...
