F1 » Vettel: We still need to go at full throttle

Sebastian Vettel: This weekend in Abu Dhabi the same level of concentration and skill is what is needed if we are to stay in front because with three races to go a comfortable lead is an elusive thing.

Mate, now your just talking BS. Seb scored 1 pole and win in the STR. All the rest of wins and pole are in the RB which is the fastest car.

Senna with 16 poles and 8 wins at Lotus, which was not the best car shows the skill of Senna and the needing the best car of Seb. Can you seriously not see the difference. Or is it you cant hand a dead f1 legend being way better than your hero ???

You are a serious Seb fanboy if you cant recognise the raw speed of Senna in Quali.

"in 1984 Senna practically won the Monaco Gp in that Toleman !!! Accomplished nothing of note..... Mate are you 16 just getting info off wiki ??"

I had not known that "accomplishing something of note" included coming second in one race. A race where two-thirds of the drivers DNFed.

"Senna could get poles and win without the fastest car"

Do you have any evidence - any at all - to support this claim? If you do then why don't you tell me what it is?

84 was Senna very first season in the worst car and the race was stopped the lap Senna was going to pass for the win. If that is not a accomplishment then you boy are a waste of time to talk to. Seb didn't get anywhere near that type of result in his first year !!!!

85, 86, 87, 92, 93. Go actually watch and read some history.

"You are a serious Seb fanboy if you cant recognise the raw speed of Senna in Quali."

Actually I have no problem with recognizing the raw speed of Senna in qualifying.

The question before us is why YOU have such trouble with recognizing the raw speed of Vettel in qualifying. Because the evidence is the same in both cases.

"Senna with 16 poles and 8 wins at Lotus, which was not the best car"

What exactly makes it "not the best car", other than your need for it to be "not the best car" for the purposes of your argument? Because by every normal measurement the Lotus seems like it was a very quick car indeed.

"84 was Senna very first season in the worst car and the race was stopped the lap Senna was going to pass for the win."

Why is that supposed to be a greater accomplishment than Vettel actually winning a race in "the worst car" in his first full season?

OK, what does NOT having the best chassis and engine mean to you...... The best car ??????? Seriously ???? Cause that what the Lotus was. NOT THE BEST CAR !!!

The RB has easily the best chassis with Neweys gizmo's which easily makes up for the Renaults less HP. Are you living under a rock ???

If Seb was so good then why has he not pulled off a stellar year like 2011 ??? So far this year: Seb with best car - win and pole, Seb with not the best car - No win or pole. See the difference ???

BTW Seb did no such thing in his first year. Didnt even get on the podium.

You are trying to compare master to grasshopper.

"In 88 he won 13 poles and 8 races against another "great" Do ya reckon Seb could do that against Alonso ???? No way !!"

Of course he could. Alonso is the modern driver most like Prost, and Vettel is the modern driver most like Senna. Alonso, like Prost, has never been a great qualifier, but still wins races from further back on the grid. Vettel, like Senna, is a qualifying demon who likes to start, and win, from the front.

Put Vettel and Alonso in the same car, a car faster by a country mile than any other on the grid, and Vettel will take 13 of 16 poles and 8 races in a 16 race season.

"OK, what does NOT having the best chassis and engine mean to you...... The best car ??????? Seriously ???? Cause that what the Lotus was. NOT THE BEST CAR !!!"

You appear, based on your surplus of exclamation points and question marks, to be very getting very emotional. But you are still providing no factual answers to the questions I've put to you. You're writing a lot of words without saying much.

Why is it that if Vettel takes a lot of pole positions, it demonstrates that his car is "the best", but if Senna did the same thing, it demonstrates nothing of the sort?

"If Seb was so good then why has he not pulled off a stellar year like 2011 ???"

Because he doesn't have the best car? Why didn't Senna pull off a stellar year like 1991 every year if he was so good? That's an equally dumb question to the one you posed.

"So far this year: Seb with best car - win and pole, Seb with not the best car - No win or pole. See the difference ???"

I see that you consistently define Seb win

"BTW Seb did no such thing in his first year."

He won a race in his first full season in F1, in a rubbish car. I only mentioned it because you seemed to think it was a matter of some importance that Senna finished second in a race in a rubbish car in his first full season.
