Kamui Kobayashi has a 'feeling' everything will work out okay and he will get a drive for F1 2013

maybe not.

Maybe if you didnt take out people's rear tires I would think differently, but you have shown no remorse in how you attack people's rear tires, you deserve no mercy.

I don't see it. Kobayashi drives over his own head with little or no real skill. A career filled with wrecked equipment and otherwise unremarkable results. Hulkenberg is a good add. They need to find a more productive and less destructive partner for him and begin to capitalize on what appears to be a decent enough car. With the right drivers (not Konashi or Perez), they could beat Merc next season, earning a bit more gold to build the 2014 hotrod with. With Kobashi, they'll just burn more cash fixing broken bits, and end the season off the mark.

he's had a few scrapes for sure, but he's more worthy of a drive in a midfield team than a number of those already on the grid.. i think anyone can see that.. but points dont always mean prizes.. Heidfeld lost out to $enna last season, how that guy is still in f1 is completely beyond me..

Ha ha.
You guys are so fickle. When he arrived a couple of years ago,he was a breath of fresh air,the best thing since sliced bread etc.
F1 does need the odd gung-ho,do or die type of racer to spice things up or it would be so dull.
Imagine a grid full of Buttons? No thanks!
Yes,Koba DOES deserve an F1 seat.

fickle would be a few races ago, 2 years to learn about how he takes people out with out any apologies, well, hes done his time, time to open the door for more deserving drivers.

@Kobakazi - two years ago I might have agreed with you. Even then I thought that his moves were desperate and for the most part very lucky to not end in tears. You can only drive like that for so long before it catches up with you. He probably would do well in Indycar though.

I will be sad to see Kobay leave. He for sure adds a dimension to F1 that is much needed. He is the underdog you root for.

As for everyone complaining about him crashing, he still had more points than NH, PdR, PM, Senna, MS, and the toro rosso boys at this moment.

Bit of an unlucky season for him, always on the wrong end of the tyre strategy when they car has potential and cuaght in a bit of incident, yes he has made some mistakes this year but just because hes known to be a hard attacker doesn't mean he is Maldonado.if he can manage to get some sponsership and hold his Sauber seat I think he can do well next season, hes fallen victim to the loopy tyre regs this season but next year is going to be more stable so he should get back to being a good points hauler, atleast this year he has vastly shown improvement in Qualifying with 3 times in the front to rows in the Sauber. I agree with Kobayashi. He drives better than that car really is. What makes it tough is that Perez has been there less time and is a better driver. He still deserves to keep his seat.
