A. Kobayashi out scored and out qualified Perez his first year by a mile

B. Kobayashi out qualified Perez so far this season, but given the inferior pit strategy, parts. (Why Sauber would sabotage success is beyond me, top tier teams that aren't Ferrari don't do that).

C. Kobayashi's podium matched RBR/Mclaren's pit stop strategy. No tire drop off gambling. Koba out raced a Mclaren without using 20s pit stop buffer.

By facts he is better than Perez. But X-Factor?

D. He was the only guy overtaking before the DRS every other race... while guys in those season had a hand full of on track overtakes.

How about Williams next year alongside Maldonado?

I don't think Senna is worthy of an F1 place any more. He had decent cars at Renault last year and Williams this year... not great cars, but decent enough to be fighting with the Saubers and Force India's.

Maldonado may have crashed a lot, hence his lowly position in the standings, but he has shown great pace at times, winning and being a podium threat elsewhere. Both Saubers have had podiums, and the Force India's have both had 4th place finishes.

Senna has only had a couple of top 8 finished from recollection and has rarely troubled PM for pace. He wasn't great at Renault and even at Hispania he Chandhock gave him a hard time. I was pleased to see him get a shot at Williams, but I don't think he's done enough with it. KK is far more deserving of a place in F1.
