F1 » Vettel sent to back of the grid in Abu Dhabi


In a major twist to the world championship battle, Sebastian Vettel has had his qualifying times deleted and will now start from the pit lane in the 2012 F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The funny thing is that Lewis was half a second quicker than his nearest rival in Barca when he ran out of fuel but Vettel was slower than Lewis today even though being lighter on fuel.

Lewis is truly EPIC the personification of speed

Vettel isn't as fast as Lulu when short fueled (in a different car at a different track) proof to a fanboy that Lulu is the greatest driver ever!

locks. yes, it even gives you flexi wings! :D :D

but there was an engine problem, and this showed up on telemetry given to stewards, and they did accept this. the fuel issue came to light later. it is possible that engine was running too rich which caused overheating to engine, and also caused higher than expected fuel usage. so with seb at back of grid, rbr can safely change engine, and start on the hard tyres which are just as fast as the softs, but would allow a longer first stint.
