It appears to be gang up on richard day. Jose maybe you ought to go back a few days and see which poster was the first of many to wish you well after Sandy hit NY. Your use of the word "clansman" is very insulting to say the least.

lulumerc. please read what i said! macca had already been given a warning for their first infraction, and then they again deliberately sent him out with not enough fuel. i have admitted that i used the word cheating in relation to macca, but not to lulu.

and as for nick, again read my post. i said if rbr deliberately sent out seb with not enough fuel, then it would be cheating. however, there was an identifiable engine problem, and if this caused excess fuel to be used, then it would not be deliberate cheating. the stewards saw from telemetry that there was a genuine engine problem, but they had to stick to the letter of the law, and as there was insufficient fuel left, they applied the requisite penalty.

all cars run with the absolute minimum of fuel, and the slightest engine malfunction can tip the scales

Richard- " lulu/mclaren has done this before, and they were well warned that such a move would be harshly punished."

why not writing "mclaren has done this before, and they were well warned that such a move would be harshly punished."

Was lulu cheating in those cases? is he in charge of refueling?

p.s- EVERY team will release their driver in Q3, heat of the moment, even when a refueling mistake (or cheating) has occured. EVERY single team.
p.s- He would have taken the pole easily in any case. there was no need for "cheating"

Well said Mark, Sunny also made his best wishes to Jose as did I, quickly forgotten obviously.
As for clansmen, no insult to me, my family are originally from the Scottish Highlands, if Brooklyn Boy wants a claymore in the chops that's the place to go!

mark. thanks. yes, i will admit when i make a mistake, unlike many others.

yes, the posters who jose regularily abuses were the first ones to show concern for him, and his dog, but this obviously went over his head. he seems to forget that there are some who have a indepth knowledge of engineering, competiton and f1. unfortunately he just attacks people rather than actually debate a subject.

still, hes not too bad an old sod. just a little hard to take.
