F1 » 'Gutted' Hamilton had been sure of win

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton admitted that he had felt certain of winning in Abu Dhabi this weekend, and that the car's sudden failure on lap 19 while in the lead was absolutely heartbreaking.

don't worry Lewis, its obvious there is something wrong at McLaren, and its obvious why you are leaving. It wont take many more screw ups to persuade the stakeholders to lose confidence in the current leadership, McLaren cannot afford to see you off like this because there's a chance Lotus will take McLaren in the constructors and that would definitely justify some internal restructuring.

Another DNF, two races to go, a chance to score another win..
Your bags are packed. After Texas saddle up and ride on.
As we can see somethings at McLaren never change.
Methinks now they are not worth the risk..

Seems like they are pushing what the car can do and it is costing them. Jenson's car has been much mor reliable but consistently slower. What ever tweaks they are doing on Hamiltons car is at the cost of reliability.

When you run a car past what it is capable of, stuff breaks.

fuel pumps run with in a pretty defined windows or set of limits, it has nothing to do with how hard your pushing the car, its not his tires or the suspension, its a fuel pump, or electronic malfunction, which has nothing to do with how lewis drives his car. learn to think for yourself and stop repeating what your told.

Lewis can't leave McLaren fast enough. Aside from last year, Lewis' luck with this team has been nothing short of a disaster. He barely won the championship in 2008, should've won it in 2007, had a dog of a car in 2009 and arguably the best car this year with five DNF's... which would have him leading the championship comfortably. McLaren is a nightmare that hasn't gone away... hopefully changing teams issues in a change of luck.
