F1 » Vettel coming around to title talk

Sebastian Vettel all but admits that it will be hard for him to lose a third F1 world championship title after preserving a double-figure point advantage in Abu Dhabi.

Taking the post race interviews at anything but face value is a big mistake. Vettel fought one of the hardest, and likely most frightening, races of his career and was obviously coming off an adrenalin high. In that state, drivers say things they are not even fully conscious or in control of (language slips for example with both Seb and Kimi). The podium interviews are idiotic in this sense, leaving no time for drivers to calm down and refresh. All diminishment of Seb aside, he's proven to be Alonso's equal, popular or not.

It always amazes me how Christian Horner never seems upset whenever Webber has bad luck or is taken out by another car. He never talks about it with anger, or how he is going to protest to the FIA or anything like that...so long as Vettel has done well in the race. You'd think Webber was driving for a different team.

Has anyone else noticed this over the years?
