F1 » Alguersuari: Vettel has more to lose than Alonso

Jaime Alguersuari: Vettel shouldn't lose it [the title], but he could. All Alonso can do is win, because it already looks like he shouldn't

Seb did chuck a bit of a wobbly after the incident with Ricciardo, so that might be a sign that he is feeling the pressure. Then again, he was thereafter able to regain his composure quickly to recover from what was looking like a fairly dismal situation for a while.

Its just a pity that Kimi took this what was a possible win effectively from Alonso
It would have been better for WDC closeness if he had managed to take the win from Vettel in Bahrain
- plus I had a bet on Kimi at 60/1 there but failed to bet on him at 28/1 this last one, instead being on Vettel at 33/1

googol. while sitting in the pit lane, awaiting start, seb told horner that he would see him on the podium. and he did not even know about sc etc. he knew that he had to drive absolutely flat out, and the adrenalin was really flowing.

My hunch for the next two races:

1. USA: Vettel - DNF (taken out by someone, probably Grosjean) - Alonso - Second (Race win by Hamilton): Result: Alonso takes championship lead by 8 points.

2. Brazil: Vettel- Victory, Alonso- Second: Result: Alonso becomes champion by a single point. That would be amazing finale.

What say guys????

Jaime Alguersuari comment makes little sense to the
old Dog. I guess Crash is looking for a new commentator.
Vettel did in deed make the podium. With a little help from
his friend the :"Safety Car". sadly dismissed, or over looked
by many here, especially Sir. Richard.
Some people..

Yeah the red bull is such a wonderful car, cant pass buttons mclaren on a straight even with fresh option tires, drs and race set up only to aid overtaking. Still has to do overtaking in a corner.

Now imagine the oh so poor Ferrari under similar situation after the second safety car and it could have won the race, if Alonso or Vettel were driving it doesnt matter, by simply going past cars on the straight one after another.

It has also a nice launch controll i must say. I think even Webber could lead a race after the first corner in that Ferrari. LOL

Alonso cannot beat Vettel in a straight fight, that has been the case for some time now. So Ferrari has to cover there bases and let the chips fall where they may. In Abu Dhabi that gained them 3 points! But in Suzuka Alonso threw away untold points so it is a double edged sword.

As far as Jaime Alguersuari being in a position to make a call like this? The mans highest accomplishment is being a Disc Jockey for crying out loud!

There always has to be a spiteful comment that slags off a driver who is "out of his place" making comments about other drivers.

I'm looking at you whizzer. Fitting name for the "contribution" you made here.
