F1 » Alguersuari: Vettel has more to lose than Alonso

Jaime Alguersuari: Vettel shouldn't lose it [the title], but he could. All Alonso can do is win, because it already looks like he shouldn't

Clearly Alonso has Driven well this year and gained the most from the Ferrari The red bull has gained in momentum all year Seb has driven exceptionally well in the last few races I still find it difficult to Believe that Webber is being treated as anything else other than the number 2 driver for Redbull ....appears to be given the second best car And his pit stop was not to manage his race it was to manage Sebs position !!! what a stupid move by redbull in calling webber in to put him back out in a position where he had little opportunity to move forward it would have been more honest to tell webber to move over for Seb And managed his pitstop at a more appropriate time!! my respect for Seb Diminishes when red bull clearly favour him I recognise he hopefully will win the championship and they manage for that ...........

@blackdog

First you praise Alonso (with obvious team orders gaining him points), then slag Vettel for RBR telling Mark to not hold Seb up?

You sound like the people that used to accuse my high school football team of "recruiting" players from other states (which was illegal), but had no problem watching our main rivals recruit legally (Catholic schools).

What is good for the goose, is also good for the gander.

Fair play to all, so quit your crying.

@blackdog: It's always been abundantly clear how Red Bull views their two drivers. Webber is there because he scores points consistently and does it better than most in the field. He's not there to be their #1 driver. That's the golden boy and it's obvious even just in the way Horner congratulates him on wins over the radio, compared to how he does it with Webber.

Any team principal would be silly not to back Seb over Webber.

Vettel/Hamilton/Raikkonen/Alonso should normally be ahead of their team mates as far as I can see, so it would be natural to get their team mates out of their way so they can go on to bigger and better things.

There is no points for good "moral" decisions... Only from gaining positions.

Here's another "expert" telling us how Alonso is "outdriving" the "plug" he is forced to drive.
This is BS. The red car is obviously a fast car. Alonso has been able to put it right at the front of every race this season. So why do so many people like to act like Alonso is this godly driver that is making a bad car look good? We know Alonso is only and equal driver to Hamilton. The 2007 season showed us that.
