agreeing with Woody, I'm even starting to warm to FA a bit, he showed on the podium who was the grown up. Swearing's fine for anyone who wants to come over as crude and low-intellect, but spare us who have more class than that and can ellocute properly.

Come on guys Alonso being mature................. he's been like a spoilt child for weeks. Speaks to no one when he gets out the car and before going on the podium. Just sulks in the corner.

Personally I think he's reflecting on the fact his chance has gone.

I have no time for Alonso, he so thinks he is better than he actually is. A lot like Hamilton who has been kissing Alonso's ass for the last couple of weeks.

Forcing sport stars to talk in a foreign language, not just in motorsports is absurd anyway. How would the likes of Hamilton, Webber or Button deal with it having to talk finnish or german on a podium ceremony.

it wasn't about alonso being mature,i don't like the guy and yes he has his moments but when it is in front of the camera he knows how to behave and speak. i personally loved kimis race talking and podium but it aint professional,to a commoner like me it's fine but the wider audience could take offence to it and thats what they should take into account.

Oh please grow the f@ck up all of you. If grown men are gonna b1tch and complain when a sportsman swears on the podium what is the world coming to.? They are just words, they mean nothing!

I am with richard, they should ditch the podium interviews. Salty language or not they cheapen the ceremony. I would rather see the driver interviewed at the post race weigh in or in the interview room.

They definitely shouldn't be allowed to say these words. It isn't even allowed here where only a few bigots will read it so I don't know how it can be ok to say on a sunday afternoon when kids will be watching
