Never mind the language used or the kimi-sebastian comparisons, how about showing some respect for local culture and customs while being guests in a foreign country.

@Richard - I didn't state that it was acceptable for either of them to swear on the podium, but there's a clear difference between a slip of the tongue or carelessness and deliberately trying to cause offence.

If you watched the podium interview and saw Vettel's body language and behavior it's quite clear to see that he's a young boy craving attention and will do what ever he can to get it. Highly inappropriate for a sportsman at his level to behave in such a way, and I'm not just talking about dropping the f-bomb.

oh josh. and how on earth do you know that it was deliberate? after such a drive through the field, and minimising the loss of points, sebs adrenalin would be really pumping. it was obvious that he was on a high, and a little bit of mischief is surely permitted.

vettel stays on a high. whether makimg noise in the headset, screaming like a child. Point and shooting fingers all over the place. Using bunny ears over another driver on the podium. Cussing and shaking around. Simple to see that he is inmature. Very good driver but very childish.

"They are just words!" You guys sound like that Asian-looking machine talking to Neo in the Matrix Revolutions. "Love is just a wooord! It's the connection given to the meaning that counts"...etc.

You're all making me laugh, arguing about this almost a week later.

I think a bit of "coloufull" language is ok, if your six your old is watching send him to bed he can watch it in catch up or something. Racers are racers, what next. Why dont they ask Loopss to remove his ugly earings? It looks very unacceptable to me.

Its not often it happens that they have a conversational mal function and like has been said- interview them less, they speek to the drivers so much and damn press trying to put words in their mouths and asking quirky questions. It would be a blessing to not have to see Jake Numpty.

Hey - All the RGB's,

Your Special driver has sworn before, so get back in your box('s).

Was a bit suprised at the swearing and Lotus drinking Bubbly in the pits, but hey, it's been a great F1 year near concluesion.

Kimis win was special - need to get the T Shirt.

Two races to go, can't wait!

I thought it was pretty funny actually, and good ol' Kimi being real never bothers me. Seb was just playing "one up", with a huge smirk on his face. The funniest thing was Coulthard's reaction, in Canada, we call guys like him "Girly Man".
