It's quite a technical track, so I'm not sure if people who drive it on the simulator will have an advantage or not as it may feel quite different to drive in real life.

It's a guess, but I think Kamui is going to love this track and if he finds a good balance with his car.. I think he will be very fast. The weather forecast is cloudy, ~20 C with possible rain... So there may be extra drama this weekend.

@blublz Kobayashi is working on sponsorship. It might be that he has something organized by this weekend.

I have a feeling Sauber is going to announce their driver choice this weekend too and it doesn't seem likely Kamui is staying.. So we wait to hear who Williams, Force India decide and things aren't even certain for Grosjean at Lotus.

"Slight off topic, KK is one of three possibilities named by Pirelli's Paul Hembury for next years tyre testing duties"

What of it? Pirelli openly state that they'd be happy to receive many F1 drivers, past and present. di Grassi, Alguersuari, Kubica, Kobayashi, Heidfeld, de la Rosa, etc...

All been linked or have tested with Pirelli.

If Koba gets a good points scoop in Austin GP, and overtakes MERCEDES, that will be something..

A humble boy racer takes down the might of Mercedes silver arrows.

Koba can do it in this track especially when others are new to this Austin Texas area so he could have a very good weekend if the car set-up and some luck on his side he could gun for podium finish and also to remember Red Bull are not strong in straight line speed so probably team like Sauber could play a key role in this race.
