You got to be in it to win it mate.. try and see the chequered flag first.. this last year has looked like an FIA crash structure test.. so many dubious incidents which the so called FIA experts have concluded are racing incidents.. but hey the teams are bringing in loads of cash from these drivers.

Don't see it happening... not next year anyway. I think Jenson will be the clear number one for the coming season, and I think Lewis will immediately establish number one status at Merc. Could be wrong, but doubt it, as both Lewis and Jenson have won races and championships, and pushed each other hard. The other two will find that life in a team with a world champion in top form is not easy to manage.

Mclaren will definitely give Perez chances regards race wins but don't know about their reliability issues. Anyway good luck to the kid it should be intresting at Mclaren as the team principal will have drivers that he has signed so hopefully we wont see another Australia or Turkey 2010.

You want to fight for the title? Really?

Well, you should go and take some serious lessons from Vettel and Alonso before they go on holiday. Then, you should start your preparations (intensity of fitness and conditioning) from the next day after the race in Interlagos. Go straight to Woking as soon as the engineers are back from holidays and start getting to know that car inside out. Don't accept ANY talk in and around Woking, of Jenson Button being the number 1 driver. even if that ruffles some feathers. Then drive with the intelligence, finesse and raw speed you already have.

And THEN wait and see what Vettel, Alonso, Button, Lewis and Webber bring to the table next year, before you talk up your chances of FIGHTING for the title. That's how tough it is!

lol when Maldonado said something similar a few months ago, I laughed at him. I'm not laughing at Chico right now cos he has a fighting chance, as he'll driving a McLaren. But someone needs to let him know that pulling this off will probably be the hardest thing he's ever done in his life! This is not just about driving the car. He has to be ready to make a few enemies on and off the track and play the mind games within and outside his team....

LOL @ all those who think they're in a better position to talk about the difficulties of winning an F1 championship than an F1 driver. Also, it's "Checo".
