Vettel is over 2 seconds a lap quicker than Alonso.

It is over.

Yeah yeah, first practice. But this highlights the difference in car eprformance betweeen RBR and Ferrari.

As an aside, the order of top 6 also highlights the difference in team-mates. See:

I usually disagree with the it's only practice rant, but in this case I'd say it's only practice. They're on a new track, with no setup information. I suspect these times and positions to change quite a bit in next two days.

@GameOver: No, it doesn't show the performance between the cars in the first place. Mostly it shows Vettels excellence - just look at Webber ..

New circuit for everyone and Vettel tops the charts - shows how go he learns new tracks.

"Looks like Ferrari have lost Fernando the title again..."

Alonso was 6/10 seconds faster than his team mate while Vettel was 2.5 seconds than his teammate. Yet, you conclude that it's all because of the car?

Anyway, as always in practice, we don't know how much fuel they had in their cars.

Whats up with Mclaren shuffling sponsors?
Lucozade is now absent. Verizon has come up.
Is Vodafone still there?

I hope the alternator problem creeps up. Then we go to a nail biting final round.

I'm simply saying if Fernando had similar machinery the title would be his. Its ridiculous that a team like Ferrari can be that far off the redbull.

@road runner
Plain stupid.

Do you imply that distance in time to your team mate is the pace of the car? LOL
So when RBR 'cheated' and Vettel was back down, then does that make RBR slow? or what?

And when Alonso had suspension problem in Monza and was down in 10th, and Massa in 5th/6th. So what is your analysis of that situation?
