wow. seb is sidelined by a waterleak for most of the session, then goes out , and with fewer laps to get used to the circuit, does a time .7 faster than anyone else.

circuit looks great, but first corner could be problematic. it is uphill, blind, and the cars at rear of grid will be able to arrive faster , due to longer run to corner, and could be unsighted to any blockage.

Vettel/RBR look very strong.

Great track, best new track in a long time. Also good to see plenty of supporters at a practice session, all bodes well.

I was looking out for an old dude from Brooklyn with a giant DOG, anyone spot him?

I'm not a fan of Vettel as a person but there is no doubting his abilities as a driver. His performance today in a session limited by problems was outstanding. Yes, he may be driving the best car of the current crop but to be 3/4 of a second ahead of your teammate with far fewer laps to set up the car and continue learning the track puts him on a different level right now. We will see how things go in qualifying tomorrow.

@Doosh bag - JV never said that Vettel was slow, just that he is immature. Perhaps you need to actually read the articles and not just the headlines?

Mark, LOL!
If Jose has had a good time on the MD2020 again and missed the lot, lets hope Jackson the DOG nicked his track side ticket and is enjoying the view. It would make sense as I'm pretty sure the DOG understands F1 better than Jose! :p
