Both Red Bulls were the slowest through the speed trap on 308 kmh, 4 clicks slower than Petrov in his Caterham, around 7 cliks slower than Ferrari and 14 slower than the Perez. They intend to be long gone by the time the cars get onto the long straight.

Vettel fastest both free practice sessions just give him the title now and let us move to 2013, why are Ferrari and McLaren so inadequate, surely it can't be all the magic of Newey?

The best we can hope for is they mess up Quali and are stuck with a car setup that is hard to pass with. Good look trying to pass on the 1st and 3rd sectors.

This sadly starting to look as if its gunna be Vettel on pole by a large margin followed bt a processional drive to the WDC

I dont suppose it will become evident what they have done to the Red Bull till the end of season when it will be too late

I think it is just tyre understanding leading to better tyre management.

The RB8 was always fast, it just didn't have the proper setup understanding to maximize the contact patches and their wear/temperature.

I think they have it dialed in now, and that is the true difference... Not some magical, hidden, illegal mechanism... Just old fashioned engineering.

Well then, if Vettel punks them all out in qualifying then I guess he will "deserve" to be the champion. Kinda like how Alonso supposedly "deserved" to be champion for the last 2 months just because he is Fernando Alonso.
