Ross'sGoldenChamp, he needs to sort those sideburns out, the extra hair cost him at least 2 tenths

Hmmm, apt user name for 2013.

blublz, surely you can appreciate style James hunt would have loved Hertfordshire boys sideburns if he was around today.

Tbh the RB8 looked to have better traction than the Mp4-27 and that's why Vettel looked more in control than Hammi as he was trying to get the most out of a car which just did not have the grip like the Red Bull but it made for a brilliant quali.

Love the in-car cam on the RBR run with Vettel. Looked awesome. That car is incredible. Looks like Seb has mastered the track. Anyways...track looks great on the telly, the option for seating looks good.....a bunch of bleacher seats in some pretty cool places to watch the race from. If you are there...get a steak!

Seb and Lewis were both mighty today, and the pace of the Lotus in final qualifying surprised me a bit. If the race unfolds as expected with only a single tire stop, the pole pace we saw could mean little compared to the long run pace on each of the compounds, and even Kimi could be in with a chance. But if Seb's pace stays strong and he wins, I think he will wrap up the title tomorrow as I do not think Alonso's Ferrari has the pace to match the cars in front qualified in front of him.

That was an interseting curved ball served up by the combination of the cool weather and Pirelli's tyre choice. Sure was nice to see so many cars out for most of qualifying.

That uphil start should be interesting!! if there isn't an almighty pileup. First half dozen laps should also be intersting until the tyres come properly up to temp.

from where I sat, and what I saw around the track, the seating is great everywhere. Better yet, Tilke finally got it right! And the steaks...

Still, I'd trade ten races here for one Spa.

McLaren will probably breakdown tomorrow. I think it is a mistake for Lewis to move to Merc, but his current team seems unable to bridge the performance gap of red bull. Whitmarsh needs to go, and Ron Dennis needs to either replace him or find someone with cajones & vision to lead this team to the front. Maybe they can lure Newwey back into the fold.....?
