About the 'dirty side' of the track. I can tell you that there was a small squadron of track cleaners being used between every session over the weekend, including something that sounded like a jet aircraft blowing stuff off the track. The surface looks to my untrained eye to be immaculate. The problem is simply that it is brand new and hasn't had any appreciable amount of rubber laid down on it yet. I honestly could see no visible difference between either side of the track along the starting straight.

Sunny, yes i have been reading some of the post on my phone. And IPAD once i get back to the hotel.Nothing I have been reading is worth my valuable time while attending this event. This is one very special weekend for me and friends. Heading back to the track now. I will have the Hyspin out early again.

Figure I will throw this out there...Speed Channel will no longer carry the races next year, it will be NBC. Scary to think about that but...there it is. Also, the advertisements have been completely different for this race. A whole slew of new commercials with the drivers doing the 'modeling'. Interesting stuff...gives it that Superbowl kinda feeling.
