Lewis Hamilton has called on the FIA to organise a clean sweep of the starting grid before today's race, to ensure that cars starting off the racing line aren't unfairly penalised.

Apparently they have been cleaning the track with a big road sweeper thing between sessions, so it's not unreasonable.. Although they should follow whatever plan they had originally set out, not just clean the track because one driver made the request :).

clean sweep? hell yeah! i don't find it wrong.

btw i didn't watch BBC coverage. could anyone tell whether BBC/Sky idiots whining about dust etc on the US track? As an American, i found their whining and bitching about dust, traffic etc at Indian GP to be offensive and unpro. i hope they didn't do something similar for the US track :?
